Countryside

< Back to Portfolios

Most of the ‘Countryside’ found in the British Isles today is really a managed landscape, which has evolved through the long partnership between man and nature. Aerial photographs of the ‘Countryside’ therefore include the various types of agricultural land which occupy much of the country; forests and woodland areas, particularly those designated as areas of outstanding natural beauty or scientific interest; as well as the many other forms of rural land use.
